International Symposium on Food Safety and Control

The International Symposium on Food Safety and Control, organised by the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), will provide a forum for information sharing on cutting-edge research and developments in the application of nuclear technologies for food safety and control, networking between the public and private sectors and defining future research needs and directions.

Oxford Instruments Magnetic Resonance benchtop NMR spectroscopy and time domain (TD-NMR) relaxometry solutions enable novel research and optimise quality control for foods and beverages. The systems detect and quantify small changes in chemical composition as well as the oil, fat and water content. Our benchtop NMR systems fight food fraud in meat, edible oils, coffee and many other areas and can provide a clear and accurate view of exactly what is in the food being sold to consumers, and in a faster timeframe than more traditional methods. They can be used in any laboratory environment to provide accurate results quickly, and without the need for expensive reagents or extensive user training. Faced with a problem as complex and widespread as food fraud and safety, benchtop NMR can help analysts move with speed and confidence.

Visit us in the M0E exhibition area at stand #M15 to learn more about how we can help with food authenticity and food safety analysis today. The event can also be attended virtually. Please register your interest by completing the form below.
