Imaris 11.1 brings learning directly into the image analysis workflow with the new Imaris Training Hub
Oxford Instruments Andor today announced the release of Imaris 11.1, the latest edition of its leading image visualisation and analysis software for life science research. The new release introduces the Imaris Training Hub, a built-in educational environment designed to help researchers master image analysis more quickly, apply best practices with confidence, and become more independent users of the Imaris platform.
For many researchers, learning image analysis is a gradual process that happens alongside ongoing projects and experiments. Imaris 11.1 addresses this challenge by bringing tutorials, guided workflows, educational datasets, application examples, videos, and supporting materials directly into the software environment where users already work.
The new Training Hub is designed to shorten the path from image acquisition to meaningful scientific insight. Instead of searching across multiple websites, documents, and training resources, users can access practical learning materials directly within Imaris and immediately apply what they learn to their own data.
The Training Hub includes content for users at all experience levels, ranging from foundational tutorials and commonly used analysis workflows to application-focused examples and advanced image analysis strategies.
"Research software is most valuable when people can use it confidently and effectively," said Anna Paszulewicz, Product Manager, Imaris. "With the Imaris Training Hub, we are bringing education directly into the software, helping researchers learn faster, discover proven analysis approaches, and get more value from their imaging experiments. At the same time, we are helping facilities scale training and support a growing user community."
In addition to the Training Hub, Imaris 11.1 introduces enhanced content management capabilities in Imaris Arena, native ZEISS CZI file support, direct access to technical and application support, integration with Imaris Connect, and workflow visibility in Imaris Viewer.
