Discover our Latest Products

We will be at MMC talking about some of our leading edge products which are designed to enhance the detection and measurement capabilities for your laboratory research, increase speed to result and provide superior data analysis capabilities. Come and find out about AZtecWave which unleashes the power of WDS; AZtecCrystal2 and Symmetry S2 which allow you to combine the world’s most modern EBSD data processing software with the ground-breaking performance of the world’s first CMOS-based EBSD detector; and the Asylum Research Jupiter XR and Cypher Atomic Force Microscopes, leading technologies for biomolecules and membranes, semiconductors, polymers, 2D materials, thin films, energy, and quantum..

You can learn more about these ground-breaking new products by visiting the booth.

AZtecWave

AZtecWave

AZtecWave lets you combine the unparalleled accuracy of Oxford Instruments AZtecLive EDS technology for element detection and composition determination with the highest spectral resolution WDS to reliably detect and accurately quantify trace or minor elements, even when X-ray lines are heavily overlapped by major element peaks in EDS.

Our unique technology unleashes the power of WDS, without the complexity. Workflows are fully integrated and designed specifically for combined EDS and WDS within the AZtec platform. EDS information is used to automate the WDS set-up to ensure the best results are achieved in the minimum time, working at optimum conditions. Whether you’re working in the fields of metallurgy, electronics, geology, or beyond, AztecWave accelerates your time to results, helping you achieve more in less time, with unparalleled accuracy and certainty.

AZtecCrystal

AZtecCrystal

The latest AZtecCrystal is the world’s most modern EBSD data processing software and builds on the original product’s success.

Capable of handling the massive datasets commonplace when using the latest CMOS-based EBSD detectors, like Symmetry S2, AZtecCrystal will suit the needs of all levels of EBSD user. For the occasional user, the intuitive interface and intelligent data handling make extracting key information from EBSD datasets a simple process. For the expert, it provides all the advanced tools required to thoroughly interrogate any dataset.

AZtecCrystal now includes rapid parent grain reconstruction among its numerous high-end developments, such as the calculation of elastic properties of materials and an advanced machine-learning based classification tool, as well as functionality to further improve throughput and ease of use.

Whatever your EBSD data processing needs, AZtecCrystal delivers the answers.

Symmetry S2

SymmetryS2

The ground-breaking performance of the world’s first CMOS-based EBSD detector is about to get better.

Offering an acquisition speed of >4500 pps with no compromise on sensitivity, Symmetry S2 delivers routine high-speed analysis on all sample types and excellent data from beam-sensitive materials.

Combining the speed of CMOS with unique fibre optics, proximity sensing, and a software-controlled tilting interface makes the S2 detector the most versatile and powerful on the market.

Symmetry S2 is driven by the power and simplicity of the AZtecHKL data acquisition software and completed by AZtecCrystal, the most modern EBSD data processing platform available, developed to cope with the large datasets generated by CMOS EBSD.

When an EBSD detector has no compromise, no application is beyond your reach.

Jupiter XR

The Jupiter XR Atomic Force Microscope is the first and only large-sample AFM to offer both high-speed imaging and extended imaging range in a single scanner configuration. Jupiter XR can accommodate samples up to 200 millimetres in diameter and inspect areas up to 100×100 microns while still delivering ultra-high resolution and high throughput, with typical images requiring <1 minute to acquire. Standard features, such as Asylum Research’s pioneering blueDrive photothermal excitation make the experimental setup simple, imaging stable and fast.

The newly developed Ergo software interface included with Jupiter XR AFM provides streamlined workflow that enables quick setup and simple acquisition of consistent high-quality images. Jupiter XR versatility, high quality data and ease-of-use allows it to excel in both academic research and industrial R&D laboratories.

Cypher AFM

The Asylum Research Cypher family of AFMs is comprised of three models: the Cypher S base model, the Cypher ES with environmental controls, and the Cypher VRS1250 video-rate AFM. All three models are designed from ground up to achieve ultra-high spatial resolution. Cypher AFMs easily and routinely achieve molecular and atomic scale resolution on samples including biomolecules, 2D materials, and polymers. The Cypher ES features a fully-sealed sample cell that is the foundation of environmental control options including heating, cooling, humidity control, and an electrochemical cell. The Cypher S and Cypher ES are also designed to support fast scanning. While conventional AFMs take several minutes to capture an image, fast scanning Cypher AFMs can capture images in several seconds for improved productivity. The Cypher VRS1250 takes imaging speed to a new level, capturing nanoscale dynamics at up to 45 frames/second.
