The Geology Technical Laboratory, School of Natural Science, are pleased to announce we are hosting the Geo-Technologist Symposium in Ireland for the first time on Tuesday 2nd September 2025.
The symposium is a 1-day international gathering of geotechnologists from Ireland, UK, and Europe together with the largest manufacturers of both equipment and consumables used in the field with a focus on the art of thin section preparation.
Held in collaboration with fellow professional technical staff from the Department of Earth Science in Durham University, we are delighted to invite you to join us in the heart of Dublin at Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin’s marvellous Museum Building for this event.
The Museum Building, itself a Victorian architectural masterclass of decorative stone craftsmanship, is home to the Disciplines of Geology, Geography and Civil Engineering in Trinity.
With a mix of presentations and demonstrations, and tours of laboratory facilities there will be plenty of opportunity for questions, discussions, and networking. We look forward welcoming you at the Geo-Technologist Symposium 2025 this September!
