Arrival Details

The first meeting last year focused on quantitative SEM‑EDS, optimisation strategies, low‑concentration analysis, and quantitative mapping — and was highly valued for its open discussion, expert guidance, and collaborative atmosphere. Check the link for some photos of last year’s edition: EDS user meeting 2025

This year’s meeting will take place at the Oxford Instruments’ office in High Wycombe (UK) again and will focus on X-ray mapping, light element analysis, and nano analysis, with contributions from both Oxford Instruments specialists and leading UK researchers. The aim of this user meeting is for experts to give a practical overview of how to achieve results on a different EDS topic followed by applications talks from experts showing practical examples. It will also be a nice opportunity for AZtec users to meet and share their knowledge.

Additionally, a poster session is planned to present and discuss your work.

If you would be interested in presenting a poster or give a 15‑minute application talk about your work, please indicate this when registering your interest.
