WHAT IS A STATEMENT OF INVESTMENT PRINCIPLES?
A Statement of Investment Principles (SIP) is a written statement governing decisions about investments relating to an occupational pension scheme. It is prepared in accordance with all relevant legislation and best-practice guidelines.
The Trustee of the Oxford Instruments Pension Scheme has drawn up this SIP to comply with the requirements of the Pensions Act 1995.
The Trustee is legally obliged to disclose the details of its SIP in relation to its occupational pension scheme.
New regulations for pension schemes require an annual implementation statement to be published alongside the Statement of Investment Principles (SIP). The Trustee approved the implementation statement at its meeting on 16 September 2021.
There has been an explosion in the use of digital data and rules have been designed to give people more control over how their personal information is collected, stored, shared and used.
This Privacy Notice is provided by the Trustee of the Oxford Instruments Pension Scheme and complies with data protection legislation. The Notice explains why the Trustee holds data about its Members, what the data is used for and how this data is protected.
