WISENT Workshop 2026

Join Oxford Instruments experts at the workshop

Join Oxford Instruments on 8 October 2026 at the University of Siegen for a WISENT workshop exploring advanced materials and device fabrication technologies.

The WISENT (Westphalian Intelligent Sensor Integration Pilot Line) project at the University of Siegen is creating a state-of-the-art development environment for intelligent sensor technologies within the new INCYTE research building. Supported by €4.7 million in funding, WISENT provides an end-to-end platform spanning sensor design, fabrication, system integration and software development, while enabling close collaboration between researchers, industry and start-ups.

We are delighted to announce that during the upcoming event, our expert, Dr Sarah Riazimehr, will be giving a presentation.

The Oxford Instruments team looks forward to welcoming you to the workshop at our booth to discuss your current projects and workflows.  If you're interested in arranging a meeting with us during the event, please complete the form below.

Talk Title: A scalable PEALD platform for dielectric integration in 2D electronics

Date: 8th of October 2026 (Thursday), 11:30 am

In this presentation, Dr Sarah Riazimehr will discuss Oxford Instruments scalable PEALD approach for dielectric integration in 2D electronics, focusing on low-damage, in-situ surface preparation and controlled dielectric deposition on 2D materials. Our solutions aim to enable uniform, high-quality dielectric integration while preserving the delicate properties of 2D materials and supporting scalable device fabrication.

Dr Sarah Riazimehr is a Researcher in Residence at Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology, based at AMO GmbH in Germany. She contributes to Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology's experimental activities within the 2D Pilot Line (2DPL) project. Her work focuses on developing scalable, damage-free dielectric deposition processes for 2D materials using the Oxford Instruments Atomfab and PlasmaPro ASP ALD systems, as well as surface cleaning and preparation of 2D materials prior to dielectric deposition.
