Description: Time Domain NMR (TD-NMR) has been used for decades in QA/QC, however, it measures more than oil, water, fluorine, and solid fat content. This presentation will describe how TD-NMR can be applied to materials analysis across a variety of industries including, but not exclusively, food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, polymers, and construction materials. Applications include: droplet size in emulsions; material characterizations e.g. polymers; non-invasive measurement of pharmaceuticals in sealed vials; hardening of and pore size distributions in cement.
