DPG Spring Meeting 2024

DPG Spring Meeting

From 19 March to 21 March 2024 the DPG Spring Meeting of the Condensed Matter Section (SKM) will take place on the campus of the Technische Universität Berlin.

Every year, the DPG organises its Spring Meetings at various locations and universities in Germany. With more than 10.000 physicists annually from Germany and abroad, the DPG Spring Meetings rank among the largest physics congresses in Europe.

Core objectives of the DPG are the sharing of knowledge and the promotion of young talents; therefore, the Spring Meetings are an important platform upon which students can present their first master or diploma thesis topics and discuss them with scientists. The comprehensive acceptance of presentations given by young scientists in the conference program is also a unique feature of the DPG Spring Meetings at the international level. At the same time, these meetings are of great importance for getting in touch with other scientists.

Stop by Oxford Instruments booth n. 33 (Tent B) to learn more about how our systems can help you advance condensed matter physics research, including the dilution refrigerator Proteox™, superconducting magnet TeslatronPT and the optical cryostat SpectromagPT and for an in-person consultation on the benefits that our Raman imaging and correlative microscopes, including RISE (Raman-SEM) instruments and cryoRaman very low-temperature systems, can offer for your condensed matter research. Come meet our experts to discover our AFM solutions: the Cypher family of AFMs are designed for ultimate imaging resolution, integrated environmental control, and fast scanning up to video rates; the Jupiter XR large sample AFM infuses high performance technology into a large sample system, providing unprecedented resolution, speed, and reproducibility for R&D and user facility labs; and Vero, our latest next-generation AFM, which builds on the incredible performance of the Cypher platform but incorporates interferometric detection (a quadrature phase differential interferometer – QPDI) to measure true vertical tip displacement.

Make sure to download our “Explore Proteox” app from the Android or Apple App Store before you arrive at the event, ready to immerse yourself in our augmented reality experience.

-- ProteoxS, our smallest system boasting the same low-temperature performance as the rest of the Proteox family

-- ProteoxMX, for those customers who require greater experimental capacity, ideal for multi-user, multi-experiment labs

-- ProteoxQX, with four side loading Secondary Inserts, our largest modular dilution refrigerator offering ultimate scalability and flexibility
