The first meeting last year focused on quantitative SEM‑EDS, optimisation strategies, low‑concentration analysis, and quantitative mapping — and was highly valued for its open discussion, expert guidance, and collaborative atmosphere. This year’s meeting will take place at the Oxford Instruments’ office in High Wycombe (UK) again and will focus on X-ray mapping, light element analysis, and nano analysis, with contributions from both Oxford Instruments specialists and leading UK researchers. The aim of this user meeting is for experts to give a practical overview of how to achieve results on a different EDS topic followed by applications talks from experts showing practical examples. It will also be a nice opportunity for AZtec users to meet and share their knowledge.
