WOLTE-13

WOLTE-13 - the 13th Workshop on Low Temperature Electronics

10th September - 13th September 2018

Special event: 2018 Nicholas Kurti Science Prize distribution

Philip Moll at Max-Planck-Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in
Dresden, Germany won the 2018 Nicholas Kurti Science Prize (now at the Institute of Materials, EPFL, Switzerland). Moll is recognised for leading the development of novel micro-structuring techniques, allowing the fabrication of bespoke devices and experiments from complex quantum materials, and thereby enabling entirely new classes of low temperature and high magnetic field measurements. He will be presented with the Nicholas Kurti Science Prize of €8000, trophy and certificate during this Conference on 12th September 2018 at 16.10 hours, followed by a presentation on his award-winning work.
