Controlled Release Tablet Imaging
This new analytical tool is a Benchtop MRI imager fully integrated with a USP 4 dissolution flow cell, which provides a convenient accessible option for controlled release studies.
How it works
The MRI system is built around permanent magnet technology, which gives no external field and requires no cryogenic cooling. The imager is equipped with a 22.6mm-wide (id), fully integrated flow cell with internal dimensions complying to USP 4. The active imaging area gives impressive resolution levels and is large enough to accommodate most dosage forms.
The system enables the study of parameters such as the mount of water penetration, matrix swelling and dissolution.
Information is displayed via easy to use bespoke 3-D imaging software.
