To adapt to the rising problem of helium costs and supply, Oxford Instruments Nanoscience has developed an expanding range of Cryogen-free products now including dilution refrigerators, 3He systems, optical cryostats and superconducting magnets. These cover room temperature to less than 10 mK with magnet options up to 16 T.
Cryofree® systems use mechanical devices (cryocoolers) to cool materials to cryogenic temperatures using helium gas as the working fluid instead of liquid nitrogen and helium.
With cryogen-free products, you can concentrate on your experiments without having to worry about liquid helium. These systems are also easier and safer to use.
